Allow me to post the recipe here for the reading pleasure of my Visitors, Ya chef!!! Thank you and sorry I did modify it here and there hehehe......(biasalah untuk makan small family jea)
|lemon rice served with grilled chicken and salad|

Source :Chef sabri
500 gm Basmathi rice ~ washed
700 ml water
3 shallots ~ sliced or blend
2 garlic ~ sliced or blend
1/2 inch ginger ~ sliced thinly
1/2 inch cinnamon stick
3 white cardamom pods
1 star anise pods
1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
3 tablespoon of lemon juice or more if u like!!
Olive/ cooking oil~ I use olive..
1 tablespoon butter
1 cube chicken stock
salt to taste
1. Prepare the rice like how you prepare your plain rice.
2. In a wok, heat olive oil and add in the butter. When the butter melts, add in all the spices, sliced shallots, garlic and ginger. Sauté until fragrant.
3. Add in the water and chicken stock. Bring to boil and salt to taste.
4. Pour into the rice when the water starts to bubble.
5.add in the lemon juice and the zest
6.stir and let it cook.( you can apply this method using rice cooker too!)
&. serve with chicken grilled and salad
